Event Security Supervisor
Overview
FBS Protection Group LLC is seeking a professional, experienced, and dependable Event Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at concerts, festivals, sporting events, theaters, private functions, and large-scale public gatherings.
The Part Time Event Security Supervisor is responsible for on-site leadership, officer deployment, compliance with client expectations, enforcement of company policies, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, performers, and vendors.
This position requires strong leadership, decision-making skills, crowd management experience, and the ability to operate in fast-paced event environments. Part-time employees are those who are scheduled to work fewer than 32 hours per workweek. Part-time employees may be scheduled on a variable or as-needed basis depending on business needs. Part-time employees are not guaranteed a minimum number of hours and may work anywhere from 0 up to 31 hours in a given workweek.
Operational Leadership

Supervise and direct security officers during assigned events

Conduct pre-event briefings (post assignments, emergency procedures, client expectations)

Ensure proper staffing levels and coverage throughout the event

Monitor officer performance and professionalism

Address call-outs or staffing shortages in coordination with Scheduling
Event & Crowd Management

Oversee access control points, backstage/restricted areas, and credential verification
-
Monitor crowd behavior and mitigate potential disturbances
-
Respond to incidents including medical emergencies, disorderly conduct, or policy violations
-
Coordinate with local law enforcement, EMS, fire departments, and venue management as needed
Compliance & Policy Enforcement

Ensure officers are in proper uniform (black pants, black polo, FBS issued gear)

Enforce company attendance and call-out procedures
-
Verify required certifications (CPR, NH Security Guard License if applicable)

Ensure adherence to use-of-force guidelines and state regulations
Client & Venue Relations

Serve as primary on-site point of contact for venue management

Maintain professional communication with clients

Address client concerns promptly and professionally

Submit post-event reports when required
Documentation & Reporting

Complete incident reports accurately and promptly

Document disciplinary or performance concerns

Ensure proper chain-of-command communication

Submit shift summaries to management
Requirements
-
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is highly desirable

Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are preferred

Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team in dynamic environments

Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours based on event schedules

Valid security license as required per state law

Job Overview
FBS Protection Group LLC is seeking professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented Part Time Event Security Officers to provide security services for concerts, festivals, sporting events, theaters, private events, and large-scale public gatherings.
Part Time Event Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, performers, venue staff, and vendors while delivering professional and courteous service consistent with FBS standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Access Control & Credential Verification

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas

Conduct bag checks or screening as assigned
-
Operate detection equipment when required
Crowd Management
-
Maintain orderly lines and crowd flow
-
Monitor for disruptive or unsafe behavior
-
Assist with seating and directional guidance
-
Support safe entry and exit during peak periods
Incident Response
-
Respond promptly to disturbances, altercations, or safety concerns
-
Notify supervisors of escalating situations
-
Assist with medical incidents until EMS arrives
-
Complete accurate incident reports when required
Patrol & Visibility
-
Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas

Monitor backstage, dressing rooms, VIP sections, and restricted zones
-
Provide high-visibility presence to deter theft and misconduct
Guest Service
-
Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests
-
Answer general event-related questions

Represent FBS Protection Group in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.

Certification in security-related fields is a plus (e.g., security guard training).

Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques is advantageous.

CPR and First Aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.

Strong observational skills with attention to detail and the ability to assess situations quickly.

Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. FBS Protection Group reserves the right to adjust work schedules as a business necessity and/or to meet client service needs and there are no guarantees in hours.

Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a criminal background check (CORI), employment verification, reference checks, and drug screening. Additional criminal background/CORI checks may be conducted at least annually and on a random basis.
